$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

Nothing to worry about.

It's 24 and counting, still pending. Should I have the AH call in?
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

It still hasn't ticketed yet. I am now very worried. What should I do?

Has anyone heard of this?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/autumn-statement/11270273/Autumn-Statement-2014-air-tax-scrapped-for-children.html

Trying to save on fees if possible.

Okay, just confirmed for myself (after an hour and 40 minutes on hold) - children under age 12 (or 16, the article contradicted itself) don't have to pay taxes leaving London. I had to call and get the taxes manually removed for my 2 kids. And when the rep told her department to take the taxes off my kids, they accidentally took it off for us adults as well so we saved over $700 in taxes :)

You already paid the taxes, and called to get it refunded?

Why is AA pricing me exEU to SYD with EY as two awards, 100k in F instead of 80k?

Rep is probably unaware of the new rule. HUCA.

No, I had reserved the itinerary and was calling in to confirm the booking and make some slight changes. The law was implemented as of May 2015, so I'm not sure why their system wasn't updated to reflect the change.
