United works on them too. But if only 1 seat available, you would probably have same availability there.

Have a first class saver award ticket tomorrow for an afternoon flight. THere is no saver award available for the night flight but shows 5 seats available. Anyway to get the later ticket? SHould I book the early on and try calling to put me on standby?

Does it make sense that adding an IB flight MAD-TLV to an AA Award JFK-MAD (AA Metal) itinerary would add $100 in taxes and fees

Thanks, just to add to my knowledge, below are the taxes added. The flight from the US is AA, which by itself only has $5.60 tax.

Yes, not everything is bookable online though..
CX is bookable via ba.com but needs to be called in to AA for example

They wont waive the phone booking fee even though its not bookable online. Sometimes you get lucky but usually not

AA changed that rule this past February.

The AA Reservations Ticketing Service Charge will be waived for all members redeeming miles for awards that cannot be booked on aa.com"
