AA site gives me an error every time i click continue after choosing a date from the calendar, being happening for the past couple days. anyone know what my issue is?

Didn't work for days but then started working for me again Friday afternoon est. haven't checked since.

Need to do a date change for a J ticket to a day with only Y availability. Will they charge me to re-deposit? Is there anything similar to UA plan B in regards to not having to pay a re-deposit fee and being able to get back into J if it opens up?

Does anyone know when CX releases F availability for upcoming flights? Is it at a certain time of day? Certain number of hours before flight?

Y? J? F? If F, I am not familiar with an exact pattern but you can definitely find availability short term i.e. several days out.

Both J and F. I assume they get released at the same time but I suppose could be different

Right I know generally it's several days out but trying to figure out if there is a specific time frame it's released to increase my chances.

From my experience, F is usually within 2 days, J can be a few more days out.

He wants to know if x days before a flight at xx:xx EST they get released. My answer is just follow the trends for flight dates ahead of yours to get an idea.

If your luck is like mine, there will be a clear trend for every day leading up to your date then your date will not follow the trend. $:-\$

What's the best time of day to call and what are the hold times currently like?

Hmm ok. Only have a few days until trip so won't have a lot of data points but I guess I'll just constantly check. Thanks.

I just looked yesterday and saw F seats for several days in the near future. Check the rare award thread.

O awesome. Those are the days I need but not the right times

. If there are seats for some flights does that mean there's nothing on other flights or do they release diff flights at diff times?

Also, BA site will show F when available, right?

Yes. BA is pretty reliable. If you see F and J seats on the flights you need, just book the F and J separately and keep monitoring/calling AA until the last minute. You can upgrade for no fee with just the additional required miles if you should see an extra F seat open up.
