$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

CX F generally only opens up very close in.

Ideas? 330 out it doesn't open?

Find F with JL and change it when CX opens.

Is CX F supposed to be better than JL F? I though JL F is supposed to be quite nice?

Well I'm in that exact situation: I have JL  F  booked but have been looking for CX F direct. Problem is I really want to see Tokyo too.

You'll see Tokyo at some point in life and when you do , I hope you plan going around Cherry Blossom season.

True. I guess it'll only be relevant if the flight become available.

Wow Id really like to hold this route for post deval...Is this going to be impossible?
I didn't check further than end of Jan (was doing it all by hand) so you may find something further out. I'm no expert, just wanted to illustrate the odds of finding two F closer in.

Using AAdvantage miles for a 62.5K ticket to LHR on BA metal - how much is the YQ? What would it be if it's AA metal?
