$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

Weird thing just happened. When i called AA Australia, right when i mentioned I want to book EY, the agent asked me if I got an email from AA in regards to booking EY awards. I said no, bec. I did not get anything.

I guess, not really sure how it happened. The agent implied it could work anywhere but I didn't want to push my luck. I want to add a XNB (?) to AUH (bus route from mall to AUH) leg on and see what happens

What's the furthest I can stretch the free change with AA? Will it be a free change if I keep the same route but reverse the origin and destination?

If I have the EY locator already even though AA says "On request" should I be able to select seats online? When trying to do so on EY it doesn't seem to let me.

Has anyone tried working directly with Etihad for the infant fare? They charge 10% of the miles for the adult ticket so it only seems fair that they should be able to charge you that instead of the 20%  paid fair.

I think you may be confused: EY charges 20% of the fare for F/J, 10% for Y. AA charges 10% for all fare classes.

just as an fyi the israeli number had no problem seeing and booking etihad
have one ticket on hold for my father jfk-auh now need to convince my father to fly to israel with 3-4 stops from lax-tlv
