What's the big deal? Just give the rep the account info when you call to ticket it.

That was my question: is it risky to give the rep now a diff acct to book it from, since it seems like the first rep didn't put it in the acct details correctly.

BTW when I originally put on hold, I didn't want to give any acct details, but the rep insisted she can't hold without acct due to fraud reasons...

Generally, no. But the fact that you're asking means there is likely more at play.

YMMV. Was just helping someone book flights last week and they didn't even though J was more or less entirely empty.

I've changed from partners to OW without fee.

Yes, if you've changed from an all non-oneworld partner to a oneworld partner award without fee, that would be an exception. Not the rule.

Are there other legs on AA or OW metal? If not, you are likely out of luck, though you can always try.
