$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

Would aa allow me to piece together a one way award flight from EZE-GRU on Lan & GRU-JFK on AA?
Individually there is availability... And is a 55 minute layover enough time in GRU?

In theory that routing works, but 55 Minutes is too short

Yes. As many changes to an AA award as you want, doesn't matter the metal.

Are you sure about that? I saw somewhere that changing the airline would incur a change fee.

It shouldn't if the origin and destination remain the same.

Changing from a OW airline to a different OW airline won't incur a fee.. Changing from a OW airline to a partner airline or v.v. will (officially) incur a fee.

(I'm originating in HKT - HKG - NRT- DFW)

BA and AA  the only likely metal for me , so no problems more than oe change, correct. Even  upg to F from Biz just difference in miles ?  and or fees

I have an itinerary that includes an F leg so I'll be charged the full F price on the entire itinerary.
Does this mean one leg can be booked in economy staandard since it cost less than 1st?
