$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

Best option to get a aa mileage ticket with either chase or Amex points?
I just flew saver award j SFO-JFK. I would stay away and fly delta or Alaska even Alaska economy service is better then AA it's as bad as it gets

If AA show saver LGA-DFW-HOU but not LGA-DFW on its own, is there any way to book LGA-DFW on it's own with BA?

Call BA Singapore for quicker response. Theyre probably closed now.

Yes, they are closed until Monday. I need to book for sunday :/

Assuming it is married segments, would it be possible to book only one flight with BA?

Call AA first and ask if they see it. If they cant then ask if they are married. They will tell you. Then try any BA office.

OK will do. Once I know if they are married or not, how does that affect my chances of book with BA? sorry I am not familiar with this type of issue

If it can be booked by AA as Saver then BA can book it. If AA tells you that they are married then they or BA will not be able to book the 2 segments without the third.

How risky is it to just book both flights and skip the 2nd leg?

No luggage, but I have lots of AA miles so no risk to my account?

It's a married segment and neither BA nor AA will be able to book just the first leg.

About 10 flights were available up until yesterday as saver, and then today all are gone on their own as a saver, but available as married with many other destinations

Since it’s married, BA won’t be able to book even both legs together (since everything by them is technically on a per leg basis).
