$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

When booking business for AA on British, they want to charge me 1650 for infant seat. Any way around that? Or is that standard?
Can i call AA to add the infant seat after and avoid it?

Booking with BA? it should be 10% of the miles+taxes

DO NOT book a lap child on a domestic flight or a flight to Canada. Just have the child added by American or USAirways at the counter, free of charge for domestic flights or for a few dollars for Canadian flights. You can also call American or USAirways to add an infant over the phone. Be sure to have a passport or birth certificate to prove your child is under 2.

Domestic flight? Add at checkin

Yes. Domestic.
Needs to be added at check-in to avoid fee?

I booked a web special and now have to cancel. Am I correct to assume that if I cancel and pay the reinstatement fee then I get my taxes and fuel surcharges back?

Also, if I cancel and then don't call to reinstate my points, will I get my taxes+fees back? (Flight was 5k+$50 × 3pax, reinstatement fee is $150+25+25, so if I can get my taxes back without reinstating the miles I think I'll do that. Not sure I'd pay $200 for 15k.)

Rep told me that need to call to reinstate on order to get taxes refunded, I can give DP for few days canceled flight didn’t do anything for few days and taxes wasn’t refunded.

Seeing award availability PVG-HKG-TLV in J, but none available HKG-TLV. The PVG leg is too early for me. There's plenty availability PVG-HKG in Y. Can I book PVG-HKG-TLV and have them switch me to a later flight in Y for the first leg?
