$75 fee:

-21+ days prior to departure is based on the departing city time zone, not the booking city time zone.

EDIT: I managed to call in and have them waive the fee when it was within 21 days in departing city time zone but not by booking city time zone

UPDATE: AA has removed all close-in fees

No, as long as all accounts you're using are with the same last name.

1) Gold members get free suitcase international (Caribbean) or only domestic?
2) If booked tickets from two different accounts can I call them to merge PNR's?

CSR claims you can't cancel half of a web special- you need to cancel whole trip. then rebook one way. Anyone with experience otherwise?

Anyone give a hand over here:

July 15 BKK - LAX

Availability with JL - 10 hour stopover.

If I check just HND - LAX I can see the availability for an earlier flight  as web special on AA metal at 99,000 aa miles

If I check Bkk - JFK  - shows 2 stopovers (bkk - hnd - lax - jfk) including the earlier AA flight in Business All for a total of 70,000!.

Why do they make it available at 70k for the JFK flight (bkk - hnd - lax - jfk), but not when i search for lax?

If I call, should it work then?

Im pretty sure you can put the last flight on hold and then drop the JFK leg when you are ready to ticket. But things may have changed

Cool, I'll let you know if that works.

Any chance AA will open up that space officially for Alaska award on JL and Aa?

If yes, how soon before the flight? (Average)

AA site says "We’re giving you more flexibility with waived award reinstatement and change fees for awards booked by June 30, 2020."

Any idea if this includes online web specials, and if it applies even when canceling the day of travel?

Tried to do that, but the agent wouldn't let it... because it prices at 99k ..
