How are the new TLV-JFK flights? Specifically in economy. Any issues with cancellations? Any other issues? Suggestions? Thank you

Booked 2 seats JFK-CMN and had them on hold received an email confirmation that i had until 7/7 @ 11:59pm to complete the purchase i tried this evening to complete the purchase and sure enough the reservations were canceled. spent 2 hrs waiting to speak to a representative from AA to hear it's not us it is the carrier that did it just a few hours ago...
spoke to a supervisor but all the same no one human person just a bunch of people that dont really care they could confirm all the information i stated. my question is simple there should be a certain responsibility between partners otherwise whats the entire system worth? nobody is liable for nothing and could always blame it on the other.
in My case it was a special dream that just got smashed. My uncle did not go back to the country since he left with his entire family when he was 16, 60 years ago!!!
that entire week there are no flights available.
HM help me make an old man Happy because i am really frustrated, and since i do believe Hakol Letova, please show me swiftly the best part of this.

Pretty sure about this but haven't been involved in a long time... If I book an award ticket, I have 24 hours to cancel with a full refund correct? The only exception is that once it is within 24 hours before the actual flight, then there are no cancellations. This all correct?

if i book a aa web special round trip, can i cancel the return after travel has started ? even though it was cheaper as a round trip ?

i see on booking it breaks down the mileage by segment ? what about before first leg can you cancel return leg and end up saving miles or the reprice it as a one way ?

see example below showing 48k per way 96 rt, one way is 57.5k per direction.

how long does it take? its 4 weeks already for me, even Qantas redeposited back the miles but not AA.

My understanding is no. I believe it needs to be true F to qualify. Not 100% sure on that though.

Trying to sign up a family member to AA Advantage for a few days already, and after submitting it, she keeps on getting a "our system is having trouble" error message. Is there any other way to sign up?

What happened? Did you cancel after departure? I'm assuming they reprice it as a one way - 57.5K, and refund only 38.5K

I booked a flight and paid with cash. Then upgraded seat with miles. I later canceled and rebooked same flight, all within 24 hours of original booking but within 7 days of the flight.
Question: will they refund me the cash and miles?

didnt actually book the trip. i had the same question with delta, they needed to manually refund and on 1 of the tickets refunded the whole trip - on the others 50% of the mileage
