Properties not to use these for if AH wont check in:

1- IC HKG
2- IC Dubai per 12hrs
3- I had issues at the IC Paris. They only let me check in after the account holders emailed the hotel with their passport info and permission foe me to use their free night.

WARNING:  Don't  do this transaction with     (nuttha_s).  This person has defrauded two sellers recently. He repeatedly calls the hotel pretending to be the account owner, then during  check in, he checks in with multiple people and hotel cancels the reservation and you will end up with loss of your free night cert and hotel will even charge you cancellation fee.  Something very fishy.  What really is going on is very suspicious! I added the 2nd guest name he wanted via IHG rep on phone  He will then dispute the payment with paypal  for full refund. Won't settle or compromise. In the end, you lost the free night and the money he paid you is gone with paypal dispute..  He or she may come with different nickname but remember he is she is based in Thailand.

I would be careful,  I recently sold a night here, two days ago I saw a charge on my CC for $400+. It seems like the person who bought it called in to merge with a different night he bought, and IHG returned my free night and charged the CC I reserved with full price.
Update: After repeatedly emailing the buyer and asking him to call me so we can figure out the details, he emailed, and claimed that he called IHG and they told him it's a mistake and it will be taken care of in a few days, and they would email with update. After a week with no sign of it being resolved in any way I called IHG myself, (without knowing all the details because he refused to call me), they put me on hold and called the hotel. They came back and said the hotel said it was a no-show and that is why they charged me and returned my free night. I said that my additional guest had checked in, so they asked if I had a receipt or check-out paper from the hotel. I said I would look for it and get back to them.
After emailing the buyer again and imploring him to call me, just to get all the facts straight, he finally did call. It turns out he bought three nights and combined, mine was the middle night. He said he would look for a receipt and call to take care of it. Another week has past and still nothing from him. My CC bill is due and I'm just going to pay it and hope he reimburses me, and if not I'll chalk it up as a learning experience.
Lessons learned, to book with a GC with small balance, or VCC with $1 limit. Also to due a little more due diligence on who I sell to.

Sorry for the wall of text, I just wanted to put in details to save some of the follow up questions.

Do you care to share the name of the buyer so that other sellers don't get caught in a similar situation?

What would be fair in this situation? Besides the fact that he doesn't seem to bothered by the fact that he messed me up, to the tune of $417+.

The hotel messed you both over. The question is who's gonna take the brunt. Did you even bother trying to call billing?

The moral of the story is to let the one staying make the reservation and put down their card.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Billing, as in IHG or the hotel?

That would mean giving them access to my account.
