Receive email as a text message?

Im currently suffering with a very stupid sprint phone, is there any way to have email's from my Hotmail/gmail sent to my phone as text messages?

In gmail you can set up forwarding with your number@messaging.sprintpcs.com as the forwarding to address. IME in some emails with large attachments it doesn't forward.

Na, went with a free replacement that unlike my katana doesn't even have email.
Cant do a centro, it was probably cool 7 years ago but everything is so outdated now on the centro...If I go smart phone its gotta be decent.
 But you never know, hold on to them/make an offer 8)

Thanks, Same thing works for hotmail. :) now Il be getting junk texts :(

its not large attatchments it only forwards to text msg if it contains text not only a pic or doc

Are there banking apps like Chase? also are these apps downloaded from sprints app store or is there a current palm app store like google play
