Some hotels have shuttles, I doubt they do, but you can call and ask. Definitely walkable to Aventura Mall which is nice, but then this trip may end up costing more than excepted

I remembered the burnt ends recommendation, but forgot about the second cut. Everything was great.

It's crazy how quick service was. I was in and out in under an hour without rushing at all. Food and drinks are super quick to come out after ordering.

I did one. Should be fine with a baby that doesn't need to move around too much. I would ask the operator if it's ok to bring a baby.

From what I saw when it was a genuine complaint he apologizes. And it's the crazy stories he responds in kind to for better or worse.

Nope actually love trump and went to a rally, not that this has anything to do with that.
I just wouldnt support someone who trashes his guests and tells them not to come back and they are not welcome back because they didnt like the service, I understand the business is cut-throat but you dont post that on a public forum in my opinion.

Cafe Vert food is fresh and good. Best milk shake I've had in ages.
Just be prepared to wait really long for the food to come out.

Bring a pair of noise canceling air muffs for the kid. Some places give out cotton balls, but for a kid the headphones will be better.

Yes and if you are sugar free they'll put sauce on side, and it is still great. Mendel is the nicest. He told me he considers diners to be his personal guests. What a sweet guy. Nicest restaurant owner ever. So approachable and makes time.

Did it with a one-year old. Wasn't fun trying to keep earplugs in his ear but otherwise was fine

Two parts to this review.

Biggest portions I've seen at a high-end restaurant.
Flat breads fantastic.
Carpaccio is best I've had anywhere and super generous.
Drinks were great.
The watchemcallit full BBQ menu for two, is really meant for 5 people. You also really have to be into BBQ sauce.
No place for dessert. Also didn't stay longer because...

Which brings me to the second part of my review.

It's simply not a place for a frum Jew. This place is clearly over the red line. I should have inquired more before about this "party scene". I was uncomfortable multiple times.

A common SoFl problem. I've wondered many times if these people consider themselves observant or just freiya Israelis coming for the Jewish vibe and Hebrew but not necessarily for the kashrus, perhaps מסורתיים. Definitely limiting a frum guy's options for dining in.
