Two parts to this review.

Biggest portions I've seen at a high-end restaurant.
Flat breads fantastic.
Carpaccio is best I've had anywhere and super generous.
Drinks were great.
The watchemcallit full BBQ menu for two, is really meant for 5 people. You also really have to be into BBQ sauce.
No place for dessert. Also didn't stay longer because...


Which brings me to the second part of my review.

It's simply not a place for a frum Jew. This place is clearly over the red line. I should have inquired more before about this "party scene". I was uncomfortable multiple times.

Regarding the party scene:
Forget about kashrus etc.  They close the light turn on blasting music and fireworks every 3 minutes for someone's birthday.  Not enjoyable when you are eating.  Once or twice is one thing. But it was way to often and way to rowdy each party

Quicker service than cafe vert. Cafe vert food was much better IMHO.

Serendipity ice cream is fresh and good. Didn't have the lime. Had the coffee and coffee chip.

Chicken and waffles. They didn't have breast. Shouldn't have gotten the thigh. Good, but not what came for.

Surprise steak nothing to write home about.
Truffle filet was better. Good.

Strawberry shortcake tasted like cake with strawberry jam from a jar on it. Way too sweet.
Molten chocolate cake good.

Sangria pretty good. No drinks menu here.

No, mainly packaging a labor issues just coming to a head. Pesach doesn't help anything, though, and it's not just Caterers trying to stock up. @moko had a post on it somewhere.

When it ends... who knows. It will probably get worse before it gets better. Under normal circumstances, I'd say things smooth out after Pesach, but there's no telling now.

1. +1 on Esti Englander.  Our whole family liked her meals a few years ago.  She was very easy to work with, accommodated special requests, and prices were reasonable.  But I don't know if she cooks for Pesach.

2. Esti Steinberg has been doing Pesach-only meals for a few years, 305-710-7590.  I considered her in 2020, when Pesach snuck up on all of us unexpectedly, so I have her menus from then. She offered several kinds of chicken (traditional roasted, carmelized onion, tangy crumb, citrus ginger), shnitzel, nuggets, pargiot.  Also roast beef, corned beef, veal loaf, cholent and yaptchik.  People order in advance, she cooks and freezes everything, and you pick it up in NMB then thaw and reheat as you need.  We ended up not ordering from her in 2020, but I have eaten in her home and she's a wonderful cook!  I have no idea if she's doing this again this year, but worth calling to ask.
 
3. Relatives stayed in an airbnb in NMB last year and had food shipped from Batya's Kitchen.  https://www.batyaskitchen.com  They were very happy with the food, because of the taste, the variety, and the fact that their in-laws were paying for everything.  Everything is cooked in Lakewood, so shipping charges make this an expensive option.
