What are the best restaurant options in Hollywood or Boca these days? Priorities are ambiance > food > price. No preference on cuisine type.

ETA: the Boca wiki is woefully out of date. @jaywhy can I beg you to do some community service and update?

when we first got there they told us there was no room inside we were slightly disappointed but it turned out for the best when I went inside it was so loud and the music was blaring that I was very happy to be in the heat outside. Ambiance was very nice outside though


Tiger of Sumatra I really enjoyed this tequila based drink


Cambiya Lemonade was also pretty good but nothing crazy


Corn Ribs was very good gets better with each bites

Gyozas was delicious as well

Wrapped Dates lived up to the hype was an amazing combination of flavors

Rib Eye was cooked exactly how we wanted it loves the salt pepper and the garlic/pepper truffle butter

Truffle Fries Meh didn't taste any different then regular fries

Green Beans Fries was really good nice crunch to it

Molten Matcha Cake cake was really good I liked the crumble around it add a nice crunch to it but really did not like the raspberry ice cream didn't taste good

Is there a trick to confirming an upgrade to a 1BR suite at residence inn in advance? Happy to pay fee in cash but it's worthless to me if it's "subject to availability at check in".

I'm more of a lurker, but for the public good... I stayed at the Altair for Shabbos.  We booked a 1 bedroom suite as we felt it would be nice to leave a light on in the living area. The room was nice, on the 2nd floor with 1.5 bathrooms and a large kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge. I had read that the regular rooms don't have fridges, but actually our bedroom had a mini fridge as well, so I'm not sure that is true. The room also had a Shabbos light and washing cup and basin as well.  Urns and platas are first come on request. That being said, it was about double the price of a regular room, and I wouldn't do it again,  especially if there is a fridge in the regular room.
When we checked in Friday they had an informative paper about Shabbos at the Altair with meal times and pricing, shul times, map of shuls etc.  Shabbos meals have to be booked by Thursday at 12. They gave us a physical key as well as an electronic key, and said the engineer would be around later to set things up. We thought they were talking about the hall lights, but we tried the key before shabbos and realized a light lit up on the door even with the physical key. We called the front desk,( this was right before shabbos)  and they sent the engineer to our room to disconnect the key card reader. The engineer said this was the only issue, but someone else told us on shabbos that they realized if you left the door open for a few minutes an alarm went off, and they had the engineer disconnect that for them as well. One of the elevators is set to shabbos but we used the stairs without a problem.

The hotel has a minyan Friday night in the atrium, which is outdoors but covered. They had siddurim and chumashim and a ladies section as well. They are not supposed to have a minyan shabbos day, but they asked (friday night) who wanted to daven there shabbos day and made a minyan. There was a rabbi there from lakewood that apparently the hotel brings in for busier weeks and he spoke very well Friday night, and gave a nice shiur shabbos afternoon. 
The food was good. Lots of people there, so tables filled up the  restaurant and lobby. The meat bar catered, I'm not sure if that is always the case. Wine and grape juice for kiddush. Nice selection of Dips and salads to start, as well as platters of salmon and gefilte fish.  Then chicken soup, then a platter with all different kinds of meats and vegetables.  Waiters also came around with French service of potato kugel,  and other meats. Dessert was a buffet of assorted fancy bakery cakes and fruit.
Shabbos day the hotel had a complimentary kiddush and shalosh seudos. Kiddush had an array of herrings, Deli platters, egg salad, potato kugel, fruit, soda, fancy cookies and babkas. Shalosh seudos had Challah rolls, Dips, a side of salmon, egg salad, cakes, fruits.  You could also pay for lunch, which started with Challah and Dips but went straight into cholent and meats. Fish and eggs would have had to be had at the kiddush. Waiters came around with assortments of corn beefs and roasts. Dessert was the same as Friday night. Lecht benching and Havdalah were in the lobby, candles are not allowed in the rooms. Overall, a very pleasant,  relaxing stay.
