You won't bring it on to the plane, cuz you didn't get a ticket. But you can check it in for free on all airlines before you get onboard. Or you can try other strategies to leave the middle seat empty and maybe put your seat there. Either way bring it along.

Gigi's cafe (in Aventura) packed up one of their pasta's for us (I don't remember what it was) and it was still really good cold.

You mentioned up thread (a long time ago...) that you were going to try them out. Did you ever make it there?

My relatives stayed there. They said it was a bit shleppy walking to the beach with all the kids but otherwise they had a nice time.

I've stayed at the Westin. I'd venture to guess its just a bit nicer and closer to a more happening area.

Closest is probably at the entrance to Miami Beach. On Alton and 41st. China Beach and a bagel shop there, forgot the name.

Who wants to take a guess who will be the first airline to start direct flights from Miami to Asia?
Miami is currently the largest market in the US without direct service to Asia.
My guess is Cathay, as they already run cargo operations to Miami.

KE is far bigger than CX in the US. Either way it will probably be in conjunction with a MIA-Latin America flight

Which is exactly why it makes more sense that it would be CX to capture the massive Oneworld feed into MIA from South America.

Agree, being that they are part of oneworld. AA never had any plans to start up something from MIA? Though my first thought would be Japan Airlines going from NRT, shorter route than HKG, huge market there. And can possibly continue from MIA to GRU. GRU has the largest Japanese population outside Japan.
