If you're renting a car it's a really long hike at MIA to get to the rental car center.

Twice I've had to wait an hour for my bags in MIA. Never had to wait that long anywhere else.

And it's a mile or more walk to rental cars.

Now they have a train to the rental cars,  but still quite a pain

The Korean beef appetizer is the best dish on the menu IMO.

Agreed. Definite must try.

I haven't eaten at too many here. Korean ribs are great from Kosh. Sushi pizza is amazing from 26.

I just read Dan's Miami TR. From the title it looks Mia is a major foodie destination, but by each restaurant he says somewhere else that the food is better.  (Besides disastrous service.)
What's really the food situation there?

Rare bistro... Same owner same location revised /lower end menu.

Several of the new lower end apps and steaks we got were inedible and it looks like an old age home now.

Always check that the place you're headed to down here is still in business.

While visiting once before I moved down here, I drove to Lenny's Pizza in Hallandale, only to learn it had closed. I then went to Jacob's in Aventura, and upon my arrival learned that they had closed as well.

Took me quite some time to make it back with pizza

At least now Lenny is in Miami Beach... Very underrated alternative to shemtovs, when all you want us pizza.

I haven't been there in a while, but IME in a span of 2 years 50% of establishments changed

It's tough staying in business from just a few busy months

i wouldnt want to take such a responsibility but i was pleasantly surprised in china bistro. food was excellent especially mongolian duo, and service was decent. place was stuffy thought but that could have just been a temporary problem with the a/c
