I love soho asian grill! Great sushi!

+1 I have been there quite a few times in the last few months, they have very good sushi and other food.
overall it's a good place and great if you stay in Aventura/sunny isles.

PrimeKo in NYC makes much better meat sushi than SoHo.

With the above comments we are thinking seriously about going to Turnberry Isle. It ends up being 40,000 per night for 6 nights but one is free (5th night free). So it's 200,000 which is exactly what we have together. Couple more questions. Is there a choice of shuls nearby for Shabbos that I can walk to? Is there a restaurant that people go to for Shabbos meals? We're used to Miami Beach (Collins) where there are a couple of restaurants for Shabbos in the condo buildings. Or do we have to eat in the room - a lot more difficult (warm food, etc.). Any help would be appreciated. Finally, anything (besides malls) to do there for an older couple? TIA.

Don't know the answer to all your questions but there are a few shuls nearby. I think young Israel is less than a mile away.

Plenty of shuls within a mile, including Young Israel and Chabad(s).  Don't know about the Shabbos-restaurants, but we ordered Chinese and ate it cold, and it was delicious.  Tons of stuff to do  (if you like to golf, you can do it at the resort - beautiful course).

We definitely tried (have avid golfer friends), but never took to golf. Out of the ton, can you give me a few examples. I appreciate all of your help.

In that area, even within driving distance, We'll have a car. All we've ever done there was nothing, eat, sleep, nothing, eat, sleep, etc. Including Shabbos we'll be there six nights this time so we figured maybe somethings to do.

I don't know how mobile you are, but look at the wiki (above), and Google those attractions; you may find something that works for you. If you're interested in a particular attraction, ask about it, and I'm sure you'll get answers here...

If you can get out to the Everglades, you gotta do an airboat tour. Those are really cool, you get to be up close to the alligators. Miami seaquarim is also cool if that's your thing (it's like a cross between an aquarium and sea world).

Does anyone think that 30K SPG for St Regis Bel Harbour to be a good usage of points. I am looking for a nice hotel on the water? I see so many options for far less but nothing really stands out
