I was just looking on SPG website for a hotel in Miami for shvuos and I sew a hotel W Miami. (Not W south beach). Has anyone here been to that place, is that a new hotel.?

see this article it is now owned by the same people who own the st. regis. I dont see why you would want to stay there especially for shavuot as it is in brikell and I dont think there are any shuls nearby. Also seems to be overpriced and of course it isnt on the beach.

they have a carlos and gaby on 41st street. I went there for lunch it was pretty good. obviously shemtovs as well is very good for lunch if you want dairy (these are in the miami beach area) if you want to go to bal harbour 26 is great for lunch

for airport dinner you can get sandwiches from rare or house of dog or carlos and gaby might be good for that as well

Oh, I didn't know I asked for a list of every restaurant in Miami.
Haven't been to any place before, and we're not in in Miami yet. We just only have 1 lunch there (Sunday), so I'm trying to find out where to go. Would prefer walking distance from 41st.

ok I did not know about Chabad but I still think you are better off staying in the st. Regis for about the same cash rate.

1) The dates i am looking at 06/07 to 06/10 St Regis is not available, for those dates W is only $287 St regis would of been 450+..

2) Im looking at W Fort lauderdale or this new W Miami. which is a better value? looking to book with SPG points.

you said you want Shavuot. 6/7 to 6/10 is before and it is a Tuesday through Friday so why do you need Shabbos meals? If it is during the week. I would recommend the w in FLL as it is on the beach and you can drive to wherever you need to go. And it is much cheaper. If for Shavuot then as Dan said there is Chabad near the w in Miami so I would go there.

Near the st. Regis you have kosh and several others with Shabbos meals and the Shul apparently has a massive kiddush on Shabbos morning as mentioned above which should cover you for lunch.

You are correct i didn't phrase my Q correctly. I was looking for the 7-10 somewhere not crowded and for yom tov somewhere near shull and food. But anyway thanks for all the information this is really helpful.. Ill probably do 7-10 W FLL and 10-14 W Miami or Four points Miami beach. Any other options?

yes so I definitely would recommend the w in FLL over the Miami one. Are you staying in the st. Regis for Shavuot? Bec it will be very hard to go up and down and in and out of the room.

No those dates are not availbe. originally i wanted go there. For the future, what are the issues with access to the rooms? Im sure they are helpful with sending up someone to open the door if thats the issue?
