Not sure about the MOST family friendly resort, but Sheraton Vistana Villages is definitely a good option for families.

Drive or Fly NY > MIA? Got on the deal on a one way jetblue EWR FLL $56 DEC 15th but not exactly sure on the return and anything after Dec 22 till Jan 7th is very expensive plus car rentals in southern Florida is through the roof. Should I just drive down which means no car rental and I'm flexible driving back to NY and not having to deal with sky rocket air fares?.

You can fly back on the 25th for $75. Not sure how you define very expensive.

Travel related case means they were traveling overseas and contracted zika there.
