Indeed LA is the winner, you have much more space, much better VIP product. I find LA easier than NY in terms of city and navigation, weather obviously.

I see the holiday decorations in all stores - does that mean it is time for this board to light up with all the snowbirds asking for: the best meat or dairy kosher restaurants in South Florida, whether they need to make reservations for yeshiva week, best place to use Bonvoy points redemption, best kiddush in surfside....

So far we have much nicer weathers here in NY than in Florida

And Harding has done it again. A new restaurant has opened.

TYO Sushi & Asian Bistro.

Just looking at the menu they have a full meat offering of ribs, baos, burgers and more on top of a large fish menu of course.

And another restaurant Roast which will specialize in rotisserie food will open soon as well.

Bagel Time.

Their Pancakes are great. Fun kid milkshakes. And their fettuccini alfredo is great if they add fresh fried garlic in it (they only do this if they aren't busy and you request it)

I think Altair hotel sells meals night and day. Kosh and Meat Bar do too for Friday night for sure.

There is a minyan in Backyard shabbos day that is supposed to have an awesome kidush too.

Seems Meat Bar now does Shabbas Day as they are the ones who cater for Altair.
$100 pp, includes wine and liquor

The traffic in FL is very frustrating 😪
Drives that used to take 30-40 minutes takes now 1-2 hours.

Plan ahead and give yourself extra time for I-95
