I've seen discussions of people booking at Four Points by Sheraton Miami Beach.  Any reviews?
I have 5 nights book for the week of 1/26.

All feedback is appreciated!
Based on tripadvisor, it seems like the hotel has recently been renovated.

Pretty good use of points for that week. Are you booking their because of location? There is a Westin in Ft Lauderdale that might be nicer at the same price. As well as one in Hollywood that's nicer as well. A tad more though.

Lion Country Safari. Also there is a winter special at Jungle Island. Children's Museum. TY Park. That is stuff we do with our 2 year old.

What is the winter special? Do I need a physical coupon?

Weston diplomat and Weston fort Lauderdale are unavail.

IME, it's a terrible property. Outdated and run down. Plastic cups, the soap and shampoo were in communal dispensers... Only bright spot is the service.
I was there in April and it definitely wasn't renovated although I guess it's possible they could've done some renovations in the interim.
When I complained afterwards that the hotel wasn't worthy of being a Cat 4, the manager responded that it was underpriced and that they would be raising the prices soon!

Come visit Boca when you're down here.

45-50 min.
Only time you'll hit traffic is evening rush hour.

And consistently so. Every time I've been there they've been top-notch.

Asia was decent but not worth the prices they ask for, IMO.

I think I'll actually be in Fort Lauderdale at the end of December. I can't wait to try it out.

Have reservation for car with SIXT --- Pick up Jan 29 at MIA Return  Feb 2 South  Beach-- Camry -- the total 4 days cost $ 132 ---

A-- SIXT CARS AS good as Hertz -Avis etc as never used them--any known problems with them ?

B-- Rate ---   any good? -- can I do much better considering  not returning to airport location

did u know the discount code u used?---- i would assume peak season winter rates would be more -- double not so sure

i know in greece if rent a car 4  days or more same rate as 7 days -- this is only for info to others as i asked to get  a better  rate and not to defend anything -please do not read me wrong
