Updated my 5S.
Only issue I've had so far is sometimes when watching videos through Facebook the audio cuts out.

I like what they've done with the messages app. Otherwise I haven't really gone into the nitty gritty of it yet.

I gotta say, I do miss my jailbreak though.

Already took it on the iPhone 5s and the iPad air.

Why not. I am not one of those people to go looking for each feature I will notice them slowly the next couple days.

Some nice new features. Doesn't look like the "bigger upgrade ever". Seems like mostly minor enhancement.

Worth it IMO. I like the improved notifications, family sharing,
improved mail app (emails from new people can be easily added to contacts, better swipe controls, "notify me" feature, etc.)
The Health app looks overwhelming but I like that it automatically tracks all your steps and movement.
I want to get a fitness tracker band to connect to it. One of the biggest updates is Extensibility- aka as the ability for apps
to natively interact with one another. This feature won't be so apparent/used upon iOS 8 release, but should be extremely helpful as time goes on.
Third party keyboards, finally. A small update but one that is awesome, Touch ID will be usable for third party apps.
There are also a bunch of tiny updates that I've stumbled upon but weren't noteworthy enough to remember.

I think the battery life has gotten worse with this update, but I believe mainly because they adjusted the auto-brightness setting to be too bright.
This better be fixed.

It wasn't advertised/marketed as the biggest update ever, nor should a company overhaul their entire OS with every update.
The iOS 7 overhaul will obviously overshadow this update, but IMO this is either the 2nd or 3rd biggest updates they've ever released,
even though it's not readily apparent. Extensibility will probably be the main reason why.
Most of the updates were baked into the existing UX or added into app menus .

Getting an iPhone 6? It'll come preloaded with iOS 8. Everyone else will have to free up A LOT of storage: on.mktw.net/1raObFX

This is only a problem if you want to download it directly to your phone. If you do it through Itunes it's not a problem at all.

Maybe they should hire a tech journalist. You can always download to your computer, much faster than direct to the phone.
But either way, if you're upgrading an OS, the best advice is always to do a fresh install.
Backup, update to iOS 8, and restore.
You wouldn't have the journoobs 5gb problem like that.

I'm noticing that too. A couple of apps randomly crashing too.

That's what you get from downloading on day 1.
