Delta Award through KLM issue

Hi,
I am trying to book LIM-ATL-CLE ow in J on Delta metal.
Issue: they only have LIM-ATL in J and ATL-CLE in Y
I wanted to book with KLM, but they said they do not allow segments to have different classes. Is there any way around this? Additionally, does anyone know how to book this ticket another way on Delta metal?

Thanks a ton! The guy said impossible but it doesnt make sense.
Also, I need to first transfer from Amex to FB. How long does that take? and can you expedite it?

Transfer is instant and can be done while you're on the phone after they've secured the space.

I spoke to a somewhat competent person and he explained they cannot break up the segments if they are dealing with Delta. I HUCAd 3 times and got the manager as well. They said it is in their policies and I must book separate award tickets.
Any other way?

My only other option is United Plan B. Does this still work? I saw the post on DDMS says it does not anymore. We really don't want to fly overnight in economy! So would rather spend some more miles to be guaranteed the J.

If you are willing to spend the extra miles why don't you try to book through delta?

They cost more for both economy there and business back.

I only found international numbers. And yes, I would greatly appreciate that!
