There is/was a similar long standing offer to upgrade business gold to platinum and get 25K. I and many others did it with no hard pull.

Keep in mind.. Do exactly what the offer tells you to do. I know a few people that had this offer & did not follow instructions & what they got was a hard pull & no bonus because they looked like a new card not an upgrade & as a new card you are not entitled if you got the Amex within 12 months. They fought, HUCA, & got no where. The computer was coded not to give. One of them got 10k of points as a peace offering...

did it by Phone, and while I upgraded rep told me there were more offers on my account such as open a Amex business gold, pre approved and receive 50k MR, so I did it as well, and the offer was never shown online. guess worth to ask a rep sometimes,

Where do you see on your amex online account? I have PRG now and want to go for platinum if 50k offer is available to me. Thanks.

it should pop up on the top of the screen if there is a offer ,
or while your logged into your account click on cards the 2nd tab ontop , if both don't show you can call ask if there is any upgrade offers,

I have a targeted pre-approval offer to upgrade from Amex green to PGR however no mention of bonus points. They list the 3x for travel etc but not the points. Should I call them first before applying?

Make sure to ask if pre approved without having a inquiry before you upgrade .

I too got the 50K upgrade offer from gold to platinum. If I go for it, how can I avoid the high AF? Can/Should I downgrade it back to the gold after getting the bonus?

My FIL had the same offer (50K to upgrade from Green to Plat) and i just upgraded him over the phone.

Now, i don't want to wait for the Plat card to arrive, so the question is when can i start spending on this card so that the spend counts towards the $5K threshold required for the bonus?

Does the OP (or anyone) please have a link for this promo?

I'm not referring to the 50k PRG upgrade, or the 25/30k BRG upgrade.
