Why is window E+ better than non window E+?
The only possibility for me to sleep in economy, is in a window seat.
I personally find no significant/worthy difference in E+ if it's a non-window, as for me the legroom ain't worth much if I cant sleep anyways (I didn't feel any difference in seat decline).

Go with the TK.

I'll be travelling with my wife on a 10+ hour overnight flight. We usually book a window and aisle and hope the middle seat is empty (most of the time it is).  Bulkhead armrests don't go up, so if the middle seat is empty we couldn't lie down.  On the other hand there's more leg room.  Regular E+ wil have moveable arm rests.

Question: Would E+ bulkhead be better or worse than E+ regular?  Is there a higher chance that a bulkhead seat will have a middle person and/or a bassinet?
TIA

2-Depends on flight but I would say yes (IMO)

Is it worth it to book an Economy Plus seat early ($84 & $98 per way), or is there any chance (if I get to the airport early) I could get it for free?

The flight is EWR - FRA - Boeing 757-200
FRA - EWR - Boeing 767-400ER
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

How many miles does it cost to upgrade from economy to economy plus on flight from EWR - TLV?

I have been thinking about using amex plat credits to pay for E+ but when I originally looked they were in the 130s, now mostly 140s/150s for the same seats. any chance they'll go back down? do they change often?

Also, I am flying with 3 other passengers- any chance an agent could throw in one of the E+ seats for free or give any type of discount? and is there anyway to upgrade to E+ with miles? I have club card, does that help me at all here in anyway?

If anyone has any insights into these questions it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Last minute trip to LAX from EWR. Last night I paid extra for EP seat because I'm a big guy. This morning I see on seat map only Economy Plus seats available. How risky is it to remove my seat assignment and at the airport have them assign me EP seat? Is it then free? I would love to save $80 but can't really risk having non EP seat.

Thanks

I couldn't find a different thread so I'm opening this one.
Is it worth a buy-up for around $150 on an 8 hour IAD-FRA flight? 2 parents, 3 young kids.

Does the price change over time? The flight is 10 months out.

Any extra benefits besides for a better pitch and a few more inches of legspace? I'm quite tall, so that could be important.

Another option is the subscription for global flights up to 8 ppl on the itin, but my only current needs are LAX-CLE and IAD-FRA, so $1,099 is steep.

FYI

MIL called UA to ask for pricing for united economy plus on a 2 pax reservation (NYC-TLV), rep gave here pricing and offered here that if she upgrades now on the phone he will only charge for one way. Charge was $160.

I purchased EP seats and now considering changing to regular seats. Will they refund the fee or is it too late?

don't base your decisions on the advice of those that don't have to deal with the results.

In my experience the prices do not drop
But back in the day i used to get upgraded by the gate agent 9/10 by asking nicely.. especially on a flight with plenty of space.

Another option is just checking the app once you're on board and just sit in one of the empty E+ seats.
