Anyone try getting a .edu address from BMG?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Anyone hear that you get the free program by sending in a student transcript?

Is there a way to stockpile memberships? I have like 6 edu emails but I figured it will automatically start from when I sign up.

According to this Microsoft link it is sounds like the free version is only available online.  Can anyone confirm?

BestBuy is offering one year free Office 365 when you buy a new PC, Mac, iPad or select Windows tablet. Note, offer excludes: Chromebooks, Chromeboxes, Chromebases and Marketplace items.

Pretty sure membership starts from when you sign up so wait to use the other emails until this subscription expires.

I'm pretty sure you need to be online for it to work because it wasn't working last night when I was trying to open files. I'll call their IT dept today and report back

That would be a waste. It'd be the same thing as google drive just totally inconvenient.
2 years ago, I was at a college where they gave out all of microsofts products for free for one year. I got their programming, web design, and complete office packages for free. I even got a free operating system (that I ran on my Mac). It was an offline version that totaled around $3000 in product.

Yes but ppl want the product for more than a yr free and it seems unless you want to pay after first yr, you gotta use another email.

Anyone know if I can verify Office Student without a .edu email?
