I had cancelled a ticket to thailand and Hong kong without redepositing the miles so i have a year to rebook it, whats the chances of AA redepositing them for me based on Only flights available now though arab countries or no Direct flights anymore?

LY does for a while put some connecting pax on B6 flights on the same ticket/FBC
Not sure whether you're trying to agree with what I said, trying to argue or just adding a comment.

Or maybe non of the above?

They didn't just have an interline for baggage (for 2 tickets...), but LY actually offered B6 flights as feeder service, on one fare base, just not under an "LY" flight number

Ok, so your just adding that interlining can also be booking on another carrier. Gotcha.

You can legally route through AMM on RJ, and possibly DOH with QR (they seem to have some ex-TLV published routings). So I don't think AA will do anything to your miles.

If I had LY and another partner booked w/ AA miles, you think they'd let me change the partner's flight w/o touching the LY segment? Or would entire itin be frozen?

A few q's from an AA/elal noob:

1) AA $35 phone booking fee, is per ticket or per reservation?
2) Is there a way to transfer AA points from me to my wife?
3) What's the best way to book an infant ticket when flying elal biz?

TIA

1) per ticket- but possible to avoid it by putting reservation on hold and HUCA- say you tried but couldn't book it online.
2) no
3) not sure

I priced it out a few times w/ AA until the price dropped from around $800 to $500 (DPS-TLV).
Keep in mind that depending on the amt of miles it costs, you may just want to buy the kid a seat.

Paid flight on ElAl in February. I gather there is nowhere to credit the miles (other than matmid)?

Doubtful:
"All award travel on EL AL must be booked and ticketed by October 31, 2014. Travel is valid one year after ticket date, and must be completed by October 31, 2015. No changes to the EL AL segments are allowed during that period.”

I wouldn't call it doubtful based on that.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
