FYI If you already have an au under a certain name with it's own login then you can activate a new au with that name without a ssn.

I think you needed to have pin setup though, cmiiaw

no for me. rep told me she works quite a while for amex already & would do anything if she was able to. she claimed she tried a few backdoor options as well but she couldnt get it expedited. ended up adding myself x5 with my ssn to ea amex acct.
So from my experience tonight. no

I dont think so.. but as Dan said.. pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.... This isnt a drastic add on etc

-1 I have called in many times in the past couple weeks the answer was no. You do need SSN to expedite the cards. If they are under a different name and you don't have SSN then call to activate the number on the front of the card sticker. They were activated over the phone

Exactly my experience. It looks like they can indeed ship without SSN but in order to expedite they need a SSN.

Just went into npgs by James st (Lakewood) and manager told me there is a question whether that branch is going take part of SBS as they make too much revenue in sales to be considered a small businesses. Does that make sense?
