Does that mean charging my Amex cards to my Yeshiva via Square won't get me the credits?

Just called eichlers in Brooklyn.  They said they received an email from Amex that the cards need to be swiped in.  Any reason to worry that the credit won't go through?

They can run the charge without it. Unless their processing account requires CVV verification

same here. With SBS in particular, and with deals in general, my sense is that the the large majority of us push the boundaries of the rules, capitalize on the loopholes (i.e., churn them like there's no tomorrow) but never do anything fraudulent or otherwise illicit.

Someone can add to wiki that in lkwd npgs is doing sbs only in main st and Jackson locations. They will give u a paper and u have to go in during the week and they I'll give u a gift card.

There are conflicting reports about this some people called amex and they said that its not a problem while others were told that it will not be credited so i guess we will find out

Good idea from a merchant swiped all cards this whole week when the machine was offline motzeh he will just plug it in and all cards will process, he tested it and it works, his provider give him this tip.... its a crazy idea, he has all info on a excel sheet and if there will be any problem he will just start to reenter or call the person if there is any problem with his card

What if someone has his card but it's broken and it won't swipe and he keys it in, doesn't make sense he shouldn't get the credit cause his card doesn't swipe.
