Amex Small Business Saturday

Half my swipes aren't showing, and I didn't get half my emails. But the emails I got are not the swipes that are showing.

So am I totally good or totally bad?

I guess half the credits you won't get because you don't have the emails, and the other half you won't get because you don't have the swipes. Sucks for you

Call Amex. Maybe they could swipe it over the phone for you.

Anyone else seeing credits in their accounts?  I've had about 4 each on my Blue Cash & Everyday cards, fewer on SPG.  The credits are all dated 11/30 - never expected them that fast!

I got a little worried when I saw multiple $10 swipes posted on the same account but only 1 credit, but I got all my emails and never had trouble in the past, so I'll try to be patient and see what rolls in over the coming days.

Sorry, ignore my opening question.  I was more interested in sharing data points and seeing if others have had the experience of credits trickling in, especially since my last observation gave me a minor panic attack.

I was approved for a new Gold Business card about a week ago. I spoke with the approving agent on the phone, and he assured me, "no problem", the card would get to me by the end of the week.  I reminded him of the holiday, and he still said no problem.  So, I didn't press the issue and didn't ask him to "expedite" shipping. 

 Well, the card didn't arrive before SBS (supposed to arrive today). I was upset that I couldn't use the card for SBS, so I called AMEX on Saturday night, asked if they would give me any MR points as a consolation.  After a brief hold, the agent "Macy" told me they couldn't give me any MR points but they would simply credit my account the $30 I would have gotten from SBS. That credit has now appeared in my account.

Update - the charges still dont show when logging into the primarys account (even when viewing the au's activity), but when logging into the au's own account theyre all there. So i dont think theres any reason to worry.

What do we call it if a store taking lists charged 10.88, 10.89, and 10.90?

If they wanted to do different amounts, why not 10.00, 10.01, 10.02?

Seems a bit off.

a family friend who doesnt know better told me the store she went to told her that to make sure the charges go through, they have to do, $10,$11,$12...i told her after she uses her $99 GC that should have been $90, she shouldn't give any more business to such dishonest people

They probably got confused with the .01, .02 charges. She could have just said "no thank you, charge it as 10.00. 10.01 and keep the pennies"
