I opened like 30 AU between 2 primary cards for  SBS. Any ideas on how I should go about closing them? Should I close them all at once or close just a few at a time? Or maybe just leave them all open?  I want to avoid getting f/r to the best of my ability! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Ok. So interesting Info.

Tuvias accidentally swiped one of my cards 4 times. They did refund it so it practically ended up being 3 times.

However AMEX credited my account 4 times for the 4 swipes and then took back one of the $10 credits. I wonder if I would have gotten it had Tuvias not refunded my card.

As an aside I did not need to call Tuvias to complain about the extra charge. they took care of it on their own.

I don't know what happened in your particular case but I swiped a bluebird card 5 times instead of 3 and only 3 credits posted....

Don't close. Keep for next year. Far less suspicious than opening and closing each year.

The reason for the $10.01, 10.02 was not because people were worried about credit, it was because the charges would be rejected.

This year that the refunds appear as from amex not from merchant does it count to reach minimum spend threshold?
