So it would be good for things people are buying anyways and limited by how much cash you can lay out. People wouldn't just swipe at the toy store just because "hey free toys...".

Tuvias and piccolino charged right away
The other two, one charged one card 6 times and forget a different card
And one finally charged my cards 1:30 est

Glad it worked out we were quick i must say. 25 seconds for 3 swipes

Many have reported getting extra emails. Their site was a little stressed out last night. Let's see what happens once the dust settles.

Bottom line this was massive pr for amex. Having lots of new businesses start taking amex, the president & other politicians doing their annual sbs shopping. What they actually spent is a drop in the bucket.

Another reason I didn't see mentioned this year, is that most people have one or two credit cards in their wallet, and aren't busy deciding which card to use which store. Black friday kicks off the busiest shopping season of the year. Amex is willing to pay you $30 to put their credit card in your wallet.

Left right and center it seems that the concensus of the unwashed masses is that anyone with dozens of more cards may have used fake names and committed some kind of fraud
