I first thought MAYBE we were dealing with a group of misguided people who thought that they'd increase Shemiras Shabbos.
Now we know we are dealing with letzanim and mevazei Talmidei Chachamim.

We hereby declare that one may not rely on “Sabbath Mode” operation to adjust oven temperatures on Yom Tov despite the presence of a Hechsher on these ovens.” Now, we all know that Rabbi Moshe Heinemann is a fine upstanding talmud chacham of the highest caliber.

Sometimes, people paskin with their emotions, not the real and accurate halacha. That needs to change, and it is our intention to let people decide for themselves, as Boruch HaShem today laymen have much more information available to be able to make informed decisions.

Laughing at the modox trash behind this app use Yiddish and yeshivish terminology on shabbosapp.com to make them sound kosher. נזם זהב באף חזיר
 
Their tag line "Nisht Shver tzu zein a yid" is the epitome of sheker! Their whole concept is based on their belief that yiddishkeit is in essence a burden.

The attitude of "its shver tzu zein a yid" that this app so beautiful portrays, is the only thing causing people to leave the fold. This attitude is more treif than all the bacon in the world. 
They think that they are being innovative.  "If only yiddishkeit was easier, less restrictive, more inclusive... "  Its the same regurgitated crap they've been selling since the enlightenment.. Guess what, the unchanged yeshiva people or chassidim are the ones that are growing by leaps and bounds. The open-reform-conserva-modern-feminista-doxes will be relegated to the garbage heaps of history.
