Maybe I'll try delta again tomorrow. Amazing how one typo can cost so much $. Big Mussar Haskell too.
Or again, use a human TA, they could have taken care much faster...

No. He is just giving you advise for the future. People get historical when for the fear that a fellow jew is going to make money on him. Why go to a local Jew when I can do it online?...

My father has his first, middle and last names on his boarding pass for an international flight and on his passport he only has his middle name and last (not his first). Anyone know if they will make him problems?

If an international ticket was booked for let's say Sarah Goldman-Roth, but the name on her ID is Sarah Goldman (Roth is her husbands name, not legally married), how big a deal is it? The airline put a note that the legal name is Goldman.

Best to have it changed... If they can't do it over the phone then at the gate ( I had a really bad experience where they let me through security on the way there but not on the way back, and thus was domestic )

Most of the times it depends on your luck, I once got a name changed for free with no hassle, and a different time when I had to change from "Moshe" to "Moses" they gave me hell, and charged $75.

A family member booked a non refundable ticket on vayama flying AF, and KLM. he put in the wrong last name on the ticket. vayama does not want to let him change the name, and insist on making him buy a new ticket. Is there anything else that can be done ? Should he call up the airline themselves to add the right info. onto the ticket ?
Update: After countless calls to Vayama, and delta yielding no results, he just booked another ticket on the same exact flight itinerary.
Then disputed the charge on chase sapphire card, saying the truth - there was a mistake on the ticket, and nobody wanted to help, plus showed that he actually rebooked the same ticket with the right info. - and B"H got the money credited back.

Did you get the final notice from Chase?

I must have posted in different thread, but a while ago I successfully flew an international leg with a friend who I booked as Yossi, while his legal name was Joseph.
Just a data point

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but I couldn't find anything else.  Does anyone know if there is a way of booking a domestic flight (for a raffle) without knowing who is flying and then add the name later?
