OK, tried reading these responses but its not going into my head...If I am booking:JFK-WAW-TLV with LOT is 80,000 UA miles. The stop over is 8-10 hours or so... That is easy & simple...What means a stopover? More than 24 hours? If yes then how can you get that for 80,000 as well?
Thanks AJK, I tried it out.. indeed pricing out at 160,000 in business.. Thanks
Nice redemption!
Don't forget that you're not limited to doing the stopover in Warsaw. Assuming the tickets are available, you can do the stopover elsewhere in Europe, N. America, and possibly other areas as well if you can get them to price it out.
Nice connection on the return, juts 1.5 hours. Much better than the routes on DDMS (although obviously he was trying to show LOT avail.)Can your stop be completely out of the way? Hypothetically...JFK-WAW(connection)-ORD(stopover)-TLV-WAW-JFK?
No.
Where do they draw the line?
Has to be the same region. Otherwise it might be more expensive. Some regions like Hawaii will still be a good deal.
