Better chance then if you don't call. if you are planning on doing more then 3 nights book the other nights and use that as "encouragement"

Was saying if you were planning on staying 4 nights then having a night booked already could make it happen easier

Did you try seeing if booking 7 or 10 or 15 nights has availability? Sometimes that works and then drop the extra nights after booking.

Call Hyatt explain that you've had success in the past with them contacting the hotel to open up availability on your dates,

+1. If you have status with Hyatt, call the diamond line. Their customer reps have been great to me in the past.
