I'm an Explorist. I stayed in a Hyatt regency on points and was told that since it was on points, parking is free. Before staying in the Bellevue in Philadelphia, I called to confirm that I would get free parking with an award night, and each rep i spoke to said yes. ( I had called multiple times about a different issue.)
When I got to the hotel, they said this perk is only for Globalists and charged me the 35 dollars parking fee. A manager confirmed that parking is not included for Explorists. When checking out, I mentioned to the clerk that I was charged for parking even though it was award night, and she said she would fix it for me and she took it off.

Anyone know the official rules? The website seems to confirm that parking should not be free. Any other experiences?
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

Didn't you ask for the official rules? Who cares about personal experience. A lot of reps are still clueless about the differences between the statuses. You seem to have gotten one and got lucky. Its not that hard to go on Hyatt.com and see the official rules

Its just that I have had quite a few reps tell me that Explorists can get free parking. I was just wondering how widespread this is, and how many reps are clueless.

If I book a room with C&P and later get more points, can I switch from C&P to full points? Or does it go back into the inventory and would need to show an available standard room to do so, which I understand is the case if I book with cash and want to change to points...

This is true, although I have had success messaging Hyatt Concierge on Twitter. Doesn't hurt to try.

Decided last minute we want to go to Hyatt this shabbos, would anyone be kind enough to offer their guest of honor benefits? It's 16k total, will be happy to send back 17k as a thank you. Can also send screenshot of account to show I have enough points to pay back immediately. I understand people hesitation but thought I would ask, thanks in advance to anyone who says yes. Shabbat Shalom!

What's the expiration policy for milestone award certificates?

I hit 60 nights on Dec 4th and my cat 1-7 cert shows expiration date of 6/2/20. I was expecting 2/28/21 (just like the upgrade certs).

So Globalist get free parking when charge to the room but do they? PH NYC covered the $75/night charged but also charged me $75 for in/out one day.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Is status benefits determined when you check-in or at time of booking? If I am globalist at time of booking but not when I check-in what do I receive?
Is it the same for a GOH booking?

Status goes by when you check in. However if you have a GOH and the guy who gifted it to you lost status it will probably still be honored as the guest of honor code won’t be removed
