Do I just add name to reservation or do I stick in her number as well?
Call the hotel to add name and Hyatt number to reservation.

I called the Hyatt 800 number and they added her name and number on...told me she was Platinum...and told me we can request and have Platinum perks.

Thanks!

If I book a room with C&P and you cancel it, are there any fees to get my points and money back?

Not as long as you cancel within the cancellation period. Some hotels 2 weeks, some 72 hrs, some 24.....

Great. And if I pay with a Hyatt GC, will the funds go back onto the GC?

Does Chase UR transfer to Hyatt instantly?
Anyone have any thoughts or comments on the Hyatt's in the city? looking at W or Westin... Is the wonderful room any good?  And Can I call up and book a better room with points (like SPG allows) or is it only the lowest tier?

I have tons of UR so i'd rather save SPG points.

I think if you would've gone through this question by question you would've gotten some answers by now. That being said, let me try and answer what I can:

1. UR>Hyatt transfers instantly
2. I've heard good things about the Andaz 5'th (and Park Hyatt if you wanna splurge)
3. Not sure about booking a better room with points, but if you're willing to do C+P you can probably find a diamond member that would be willing to use a DSU so you'd get a suite.

Thanks. Reading the Hyatt site, it said andaz and park Hyatt require 3 night minimum award stay. Is there a way around? I want 1 night

Maybe the was for suites.
Is there a thread where people sell sign up nights? I think I'll get a Hyatt on my next chase app.

I just booked 3 nights in the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall Jamaica,
they told me on the phone that it's 25,000 a night plus 12,000 for an additional person,
So I said ok and they transferred me to someone else to make the actual reservation, that lady told me it's 25,000 a night and she didn't mention anything about the 12,000 for an additional person, so she only deducted 75,000 points from my account and I checked the reservation and it says it's for 2 adults!

Is there a chance that they might use additional points from my account once they realize it? or i'm good to go?

I haven't seen anywhere that they charge extra for additional guests.

Maybe it is something to do with the all-inclusive aspect.

The 12K is for more than 2 guests.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Is Hyatt  Cash + Points a Net Rate that already includes the taxes or is it  tax exclusive and you will have to pay extra for local taxes and fees?

I stayed at 2 different Hyatt Hotels in UAE and while at first hotel the Cash+Points rate already included taxes and i didn't have to pay anything extra. The second hotel charged me 30% extra for taxes and fees for cash part of my bill.

Also, is it normal to be charged $20 for 10 min of local phone calls? I was under the impression that local calls should be free. :(

You have to pay taxes on top of the the rate. Pone calls can cost $20.
