Yes, but many hotels do not know this.
So if a hotel didnt give it to me and they are saying I dont get it should I call corporate?
Just call the diamond line and push 2 for customer service. You get 50% more if they don't post it. So if it was a full service hyatt and you requested the points you will get 1500 instead of 1000. 750 instead of 500 at a HP
Can I book a room with my Hyatt free night - from opening card - for somebody else, and add them to reservation, abs they can check in w/o me being there ? It's for the park Hyatt nyc, if that makes a diff.
generally it works but there is always a small risk they would want the account holder to be there if they suspect something.
