Who did you email? I just got rejected by Walter's assistant, Moira.
Sorry I just saw your post. I emailed these 2 people.
I have a different email address, Walter.Brindell@Hyatt.com
Guest relations manager email: Alyssa.keast@hyatt.com
I was booking a room for a bride, and groom so that might have made it easier. Good luck.

Thanks. Is it odd that im not seeing any nights with points for a Hyatt in canada? Do international hotels not show as many nights available with points as the domestic ones?

If you are like looking at Vancouver, lots happening with some sold out dates (at least for standard rooms wanting to use anniversary night).

Hi All,

So we're on the road and on the way to Baltimore. Looking to book 2 rooms for this weekend at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore from tomorrow until Sunday. 15k points per room, or 229? It comes out to .015 (one and a half) cents per point. (I have hyatt points). Not a great deal? Is it better to pay with a sapphire and earn the double points.

Also, has anyone stayed here before? Any recommendations? Anyone know how to score an upgrade?

Thanks,
JD

You are not going to be earning much with the 2x when paying. It really depends if you have better redemption options for those points and/or you are going for status and want the nights.

Try calling.
You have experience getting them to book you when there are no vacant Garden View rooms?

I dont have any experience at this specific hotel but have been able to book over theb phone even when no points night were availble.
As for not showing room availability I've read elsewhere that calling may help

Does it make sense to use 8,000 points for a night stay if the cash rate is $105 plus taxes?

Depends how you value UR. May be worth paying for the additional miles earned.

Thanks, just checking if you had specific success here. I've had medium success by speaking to the reservations manager here, but I had to change my reservation a few times and now there's no space for the dates I need and the manager has stopped being willing to help.

Does Hyatt offer complimentary room upgrades for Platinum members? Remember seeing it somewhere, now when I looked up the benefits it does not appear as one... anyone?
