Does a suite have to show as available under C+P online? Or do I just book a standard room as C+P and then call it in and as long as the hotel itself has suites, Ill get that via my DSU?

yes just book the standard room and if available they will give you the suite

You can book for both you and the second person together. Two names are allowed on each room.

Make the reservation in from your account, add a second persons name to the reservation, and viola.

When do DSUs expire? Just got 4 when i status matched. Does it expire a year from when I got them or at the end of the calendar year?

You can check this in your Hyatt account under awards. They expire at the end of February 2016. You will then receive new ones through your 2017 match.

Just to clarify; you need to book them by the end of 02/16, but the actual stay can be later.
