I've booked more then 2 rooms online many times.
Could be the issue your having is, one of the nights are not available, so the website isn't letting you book it.
Try searching everyday separately to see if all nights are open.
He meant more than 2 rooms on the same night.

I wanted to post that I was able to get a pretty nice upgrade at an award night at the PH Ny without any real status (just Hyatt Platinum). I had sent an email to Walter Brindel but he is back in Chicago (I know I should've read this thread more carefully). Moira was able to help us get an upgrade to a  deluxe room (basically a junior suite) for my wife's birthday and they comped wine and chocolate as well. Icing on the cake was free parking courtesy of parkwhiz.com  ;D.

Have you tried doing a "reservation using points"? Seems like you can go ahead and do that and then be asked if you want to use your cert instead. Can you try and let me know?

I booked 4 rooms and only received points for 3, I inquired via Twitter and was told

Quote
Gold Passport Terms & Conditions allow for credit up to three total rooms. ^PR

Is this a new policy?

Thanks. Have you done it in the past? Is it easy?
