Yes, they'll give you issues, as Hyatt won't credit you for two stays on the same night.

Yes, once every 30 days. I printed the form, faxed it and voila!

It does.
Does it help to call if it is not showing or they just going to tell you it is not available?

Is C&P offered for AI's?
"LESS IS MORE" It is the cumulative effect that kills deals!!! How many times do I have to say this?  >:(

They do offer it for AIs. YMMV if they will open it up. Being diamond definitely helps.

Calling can help. I have had the diamond line call the hotel on my behalf and open up space here and there. It's up to the hotels discretion to open up space or not.

You can try to call the hotel and get them to open space but if they don't, you're out of luck, sorry.

Is there any benefit of booking a category 6 hotel with cash and points as opposed to using only points if i have plenty of points to cover the stay?

Anybody know what my rights are for this situation: Bought Presidential Suite for Park Hyatt Hyderabad last week for $137++/night when it glitched from it's normal $1700++/night for future travel. It's a CAT2 so 8k/night for standard king. Just got an email yesterday I believe from PHH and they said blah blah blah mistake blah sorry, and we will give you park standard with view room in lieu of this error. what? I'd rather use the points in this case. What are my options as my cc has already charged. I think that most companies have to accept it by law. I did it last year with the Presidential Suite at Grand Hyatt Santiago for $37 total for 6 nights with the Amex Fine Hotels glitch. How is this any different?  Thoughts?

Best of luck in the Indian courts.

You win some, you lose some. If this was a U.S. hotel, they might honor the mistake or give you a big discount to avoid a lawsuit and/or social media backlash. Never know, but a hotel in India is unlikely to do the same.

I figured the same, but I was hoping that since I bought from the US that we would have some kind of consumer protection.  My thoughts are to write up a nice response that states that I want to create a long lasting relationship with Hyatt, explain the reason for travel (anniversary), and how I will not be recommending Hyatt to friends and family should they not honor the rate.  Doesn't hurt to still try.  If they deny the request, I should still have the option to cancel as I am not getting what I purchased.
