could be a better value depending on the category. Also if you need stay credit you will only get it with c and p and not all points. Finally  until the end of the month you cannot use a DSU on all points bookings only on cash and c and p.

category 5
Don't have status by Hyatt so wouldn't do it for that reason
booking would be for 3/1 so DSU wouldn't be a problem either (if I even get one)

seems like you are better off with all points.

Have to cancel a Hyatt reservation that's past the cancelation period.
It's for the PH MLE.
Is hyatt easy with cancelation, ( diamond account as well) ?

Just got hit with the AF for the hyatt card. Question: the rep on the phone told me that if i already booked the room for the anniversary night, then even if i shut down my account to avoid paying the AF, i would not lose that reservation. However if i didn't book it yet, then if i shut down the account, i would lose my anniversary night. is this a classic case of DROPR? can someone please confirm what he said...TIA

Cross post from Paris master thread - Any chance PH Paris would open award space for three nights if I called?

Yes, once it's in your Hyatt account, Chase has nothing to do with it.
