Transferred points to Hyatt from my chase account. Said would be instant and now I'm seeing it can take up to 7days.
What's the normal time frame for the points to actually post?
Not sure if I'm better off booking it another way or hope the points actually post before the 7 days?
if it’s the first time sending there are delays these days. But it shouldn’t take more then 2 days. Usually by 24 hours it will post

Whats the going rate for globalist bookings? Getting offers for 1.65 does that make sense?

1.3 - 1.4 tops!
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Selling points is against the rules.  :P
1.6 is correct
Lets do a little math. At 1.6 selling a cat 4 cert from a globalist account should cost 240? Good luck with that one.  :)

I had sold outside the fourm @ 1.6 many times!
Certificates are more limited in use. Such as only 1-4
I have also sold here 1-4 certificates for $200

I have sold hyatt points for 2.5 too but that doesn’t make it the going rate….. That being said the going rate is not 1.3-1.4 either. More like 1.45-1.6 and yes points and certificates are completely different

If I make a GOH booking (cat 4) with a certificate or points what would be the difference?

In that specific case, there is no difference. That doesnt mean I will go and unload all my points at that rate... Go look at how much the 1-7s are going for... Also look at Marriott the 35K certificates sell for $125 go try to buy 35K marriott and get back to me ith how much that costs... I expect you to know better then that

I was pointing out the price difference makes no sense at certain spots. I understand the premium for GOH booking but not .3-.35

Either way it depends on the groups you hang with. I had a friend who wanted me to get him 100k Hyatt. I asked him the price and he said 1.6. I told him he was out of his mind. I posted at 1.3 and was filled right away. Could have been lower but he was in a hurry.

It seems FT members put a higher price on Hyatt than DDF.

Disclaimer: This is all hypothetical since buying/selling is not allowed.

Yes at certain spots it doesn't, so if they dont need the benefits they can buy regular hyatt. Its not a one size fits all. Some hotels it doesnt even make sens eto get Globalist, for others it does.

They can advance enough points for your first night if they see it transferring and take it back when the points post. Happened to a friend of mine this week.

Hey, I'm having this exact problem, chase told me it's sent on their end, and Hyatt said they can't do nothing,
How long did it take for the points to come thru?

Call Hyatt and ask for a points advance. HUCA if needed.
