Author Topic: advice in dealing with this company (Read 4203 times)

just about a year ago i ordered baby furniture from a certain store. there were areas that were missing paint and the owner said he would fix it. its 11 months later, and its back and forth, and then hes awol for a month. etc.
any advice?

Good luck! Those are furniture companies!
I'm not gonna start with my own experience because I don't want to get to worked up on "aseres yemei teshuvah".......
Though advice for next time: HOLD BACK MONEY!

Some stores don't take Amex.

Make an announcement in shul?.
If the guy is a crook it should be known.

"Loshon horah" is a very complicated subject it's not for one to just decide on one feet, as much as my feelings are with you I don't know if the torah is......

I had a similar story with a linen set that came out differently than I ordered it (and I know I specified). The store would not take it back. I don't want to make machlokes, so now we're just ignoring the issue.
Interested what the oilam thinks can be done in these situations.

Interesting that you should say that, I had the same thing. When my wife went to pick up the linen, it was completely different than ordered. (They did it over for us, though)
