Has anyone used Softcard at Walgreens? They say that they accept Google Wallet but when I tried to pay with my Galaxy s5 today it didn't work. I have several cards that have activated and it says they're ready to pay but when I tap the payment system, it beeps but nothing else happens (yes, NFC is turned on). Do I have to keep the softcard app open while tapping the system?

I've only used it at Walgreens. I believe you need to have the app open when you tap and pay.

Of course softcard has to be open with the cc image. Unless the fact that Walgreens and cvs is blocking apple pay affected softcard...

just used softcard in walgreens on thursday without a problem, probably didnt work because his softcard wasnt opened

I didn't have it open the first time I tried it because when using Apple Pay you don't need to have anything open. When I went back to Walgreens later today I opened up the app but it still didn't work. I'll try again tomorrow.

I tried CVS today and it didnt work it said "please select another payment option" but it worked last thursday :(

Sorry Walgreens didn't ban apple pay. Cvs and rite Aid did.

Didn't work for me either at CVS today. I called Softcard and they said they received a memo that CVS stopped accepting NFC.

Saw people on sd reporting that Rite Aid worked for them as of 1:20pm today. Supposedly Rite Aid is blocking Apple Pay directly, so Softcard should work fine.
