Have fun! We did that trip as part of our honeymoon and it was phenomenal!
No need to spend more than two days in BKK since it's very crowded.. Hotels in BKK are are usually quite cheap so I wouldnt waste my points there.. I'd rather use them in the Islands.

Note that LY has an interline agreement with Bankgok Air; so we checked-in our suitcases at TLV and picked them out straight in Phuket

If you hit up the north, don't skip Chiang Rai and the Golden Triangle area. Very beautiful and off the beaten track for most DDFers.
I used SPG in both Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. Both properties are very nice.
I also stayed at a small river side resort for a few nights outside of Chiang Mai, including shabbos.

Do you think it's too much? The flights are short and heard not much of a wait.

In general everything we booked is 100% refundable. I was thinking last 4 nights we'd spend relaxing on koh pangan. We could skip the night in phuket and go straight to koh samui. No idea. Have you been there? Any indsight? It just all looks so interesting....

+1
Don't jump around so much. Take your time to explore in each area. It'll be more relaxed.
